Texturing and Look Dev
Fristly Look Dev has been made with a neutral lightset to let all the props and character to mantain a certain consistency.
Sushido meshes uses mainly PxrLM Materials like LMPlastic, LMMetal and LMGlass shader.
For Fur and Hairs the new PxrMarschnerHair has been used to obtain a photorealistic look.
Textures for the character have been made by Giovanni D’Ossena, while all the other props have been textured by Daniela Rossini and me.
We mainly used Mudbox and Quixel Suite 2.0 to make textures in 4k, converted in 2k .tex file for renderman.
For the ground we used procedural Maya and RIS nodes to generate the Color and Bump, while Fabio Messina created the rock displacement in Zbrush.
